Sciberras’ paintings and etchings are based upon the landscapes around the Australian outback and desert. His raw ochre landscapes evoke the vibrancy and energy of Australia’s arid interior. Sciberras’ works of Gallipoli will continue the practice of searching out the land’s abstract essence and the history that defines it.
